Recorded Recreational Reading for the Blind is looking for volunteers.

Originating from sound booths at RRRB in Peoria, KRUV is a 24/7 digital radio station operated by unpaid volunteers.

RRRB is a nonprofit whose mission is to record reading material for the vision-impaired, and KRUV supports that mission through community engagement and promoting awareness about vision issues. KRUV’s program content, currently as diverse as its listener base, is determined by Program Director John Schumacher. Schumacher’s vision is to expand programming content to appeal to an even wider audience.

RRRB is looking for volunteers familiar with broadcasting to upload, organize and schedule audio files for digital radio station. Volunteers will be trained by the director and requires 12-15 hours per week.
