FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW) -- Florence police are asking for help identifying three of the people involved in a Walmart assault Friday afternoon.

Capt. Stephen Starling said that a portion of the confrontation, which involved an employee and two others, happened at about 4:45 p.m. at 2014 S. Irby St. and was captured on surveillance video. It began when a store worker asked to see the receipt of two people who were leaving.

One of the customers then pushed the employee, who responded by punching the man, according to police. Another person broke up the fight before police arrived.

The worker was examined but did not appear seriously hurt, Starling said. Anyone with information on the people's identities is asked to call 843-665-3191.
