Brooklyn's Caribbean community enjoyed a host of artists from the islands on Sunday as part of the Planet Brooklyn festival, a two-day event in and around Barclays Center.

Various flags from Caribbean nations were waved from the top of the arena all the way down to the pit, as patrons came to listen to Machel Montano, a Trinidadian artist also known as the “King of Soca." Montano was joined by Ravi B., Majah Hype and DJ Norie, among others, while West African singer Natu Camara held court at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

On Saturday, the MUTHA collective performed, alongside Ludmilla, CupCakKe, Junglepussy and Mykki Blanco. Grammy-nominated Cuban vocalist Daymé Arocena performed at BAM.
