GEDDES, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- Some people come to the State Fair just for the food, and it's no wonder. From fried classics to exotic eats, there's something for everyone.

You don't need to see shark on the menu, but at Six & Things, it's their specialty.

"The shark comes in from Boston. The elk comes in from out west. We're literally getting this stuff from all over the United States and out as far as Australia," said Phil Galuppi, owner of Stix & Things.

Galuppi says he's been serving up the unexpected for more than two decades.

"We literally had two items, turkey legs and shrimp on a stick, that was it," said Galuppi.

But Galuppi quickly expanded the menu. Today, you'll find shark, kangaroo, gator, elk, and even wild boar.

"Right now, our gator is the most popular item on the menu," s
