Desert Spine fellowship program offers academic training on spine treatment and medicine

Scottsdale-based Desert Spine and Sports Physicians is continuing its Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship program.

According to a press release, the North American Spine Society-recognized fellowship program offers private training and practice with an academic feel. Each year, four fellows are trained under DSSP physicians and gain experience in various areas including electrodiagnostic studies, outpatient evaluation, spine and musculoskeletal condition management, biologics and regenerative medicine, fluoroscopically guided spine and joint procedures and more.

The program blends an academic style of training with a private practice environment. Fellows also contribute to lectures and monthly journal clubs, while part of the program.
