PORTLAND, Oregon — Four homes and several outbuildings have been lost to the Flat Fire since it sparked Thursday afternoon , just northeast of Sisters.
As of Wednesday evening, the fire is estimated to be 23,261 acres, with 7% containment, and threatening 3,938 homes.
All Level 3: Go Now areas in Deschutes County have been dropped as of Thursday afternoon, according to the county sheriff's office, while multiple Level 2: Be Set areas have been reduced to Level 1: Be Ready.
