WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C. police arrested a man accused of shooting at two teens in an apartment building in Southwest over the weekend.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that on Aug. 23, around 2:30 a.m., the two teenagers were "playing around" in an apartment building in the 4600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. The teens knocked on the suspect's door before running away.

The suspect left his apartment armed with a gun and shot down the hall after the fleeing teenagers.

MPD said that the teenagers had no injuries, but officials found several bullet holes inside an apartment.

Police identified 64-year-old Darryl Woods as the suspect, MPD said. Officers found a gun in his apartment.
