MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- The Marlboro County Sheriff's Office says a local man stole more than $20,000 worth of railroad tracks.

Walter Tyndall is charged with grand larceny and trespassing on a railroad track. He's being held at the Marlboro County Detention Center ahead of a bond hearing.

Authorities say Tyndall took $22,000 worth of goods from the Aberdeen Rockfish Railway Company railway site in Bennettsville.
