GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — You're never too old to learn something new, and the Emeritus Society has been proving that to people in the Triad for two decades.
"It's a wonderful thing trying to figure out the world. It's hard to get it figured out," said Mike Bianco.
Bianco is trying his best, even in his late 80s.
"I'm 17. That's my real age," said Bianco, with a smirk on his face.
Learning something new isn't just something the Harvard and UNCG graduate felt like he should do.
"It becomes something you have to do," Bianco said. "I just keep coming back for more."
It keeps him coming back to classes with the Emeritus Society.
"It's been around for close to 20 years, and it offers mini courses. No credit hours. No exams. No homework. It's just lecture. Anywhere between three and eight
