EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A jury came to a verdict in the trial of a man accused of badly hurting his child is on trial in Evansville.

According to official records, Tremain Cabell was found guilty.

We told you about his neglect arrest in 2022.

The case was briefly dismissed, but charges were refiled in 2023.

Officials say Cabell’s baby was first taken to the hospital at three weeks old with the traumatic brain injury that resulted in a feeding tube and constant care.

In the months that followed, police say DCS documented severe injuries five more times, including broken bones.
