WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C. police arrested a man Saturday accused of a string of burglaries and thefts after a robbery took place in June.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that on June 12, around 9:35 p.m., a man walked up to a victim in the 900 block of Massachusetts Ave. NW. The man stole the victim's belongings before escaping.
On Aug. 23, MPD officers executed an arrest warrant and took 61-year-old Ronnie Bryant into custody. Police charged him with robbery (snatch).
As detectives investigated, they tied Bryant to several more cases: • Burglary one on May 15 in the 2400 block of Virginia Ave. NW • Theft two on June 5 in the 1200 block of 22nd St. NW • Burglary two of an establishment on June 12 in the 500 block of 23rd St. NW • Burglary two of an establish
