Last season, Aaron Rodgers became the ninth NFL quarterback to throw for 60,000 regular-season passing yards , and Sunday, the Los Angeles Rams ' Matthew Stafford joined him on the prestigious list.

Stafford came into Week 1 against the Houston Texans needing 191 yards to hit 60,000, and he threw for 245 yards in the win.

Stafford entered last season with a chance to join the 60K club but ended up just short at 59,809 yards. He would have had a shot to cross the mark in Week 18, but the Rams chose to rest him ahead of their playoff run. Stafford needed 3,943 yards to eclipse 60,000 in 2024. Despite falling short, he did pass Eli Manning for 10th place on the career passing list in Week 4.
