SOUTHEAST, NY — A Bronx woman and a Reading, Pennsylvania man were arrested Friday on felony drug and weapons charges after a traffic stop on Interstate 684 linked them to a fraud investigation out of Port Jervis.

Victoria L. Negron, 30, and Jonathan Ramirez, 42, were stopped by a New York State Trooper from the Somers barracks shortly after a BOLO — Be On the Lookout — alert was issued by the Westchester Real Time Crime Center. The vehicle, tied to a fraud case, was spotted committing traffic violations before being pulled over with assistance from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.

During a consent search of the vehicle, officers discovered approximately 21.4 grams of MDMA, 3.2 grams of cocaine, and three firearms, including loaded handguns.
