RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A world record goat yoga attempt will be held at The Diamond in Richmond in September, with all proceeds supporting a nonprofit.
The event, held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, will be an attempt to set the world record for the largest number of people participating in goat yoga.
The world record attempt will begin at 11:30 a.m. at The Diamond, located at 3001 N. Arthur Ashe Blvd.
As well as goat yoga, attendees can enjoy food trucks, local vendors, live music and photo opportunities.
According to organizers, all proceeds will support Pactamere Cares Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides animal-assisted therapy to community members.
