Three adults and a 16-year old have been charged with gun and drug offenses following a month long investigation by the Wilmington Police Gun Intelligence Unit.

According to police, officers attempted to stop a vehicle in the 800 block of West 7th Street on August 20th in which the teen was a passenger, but the driver fled, hitting a pair of police squads along the way.

The vehicle was eventually found on Concord Pike and three people arrested - the 16-year old, 23-year-old Nhy-jee Evans, and 23-year-old Sabeer Mumin.

Search warrants at a pair of Wilmington homes were then carried out in the 200 block of North Franklin Street and the 1200 block of Conrad Street.
