FARGO — Two days after a prominent North Dakota State quarterback was signed by the Minnesota Vikings, another one, Easton Stick, was released by the Atlanta Falcons, according to multiple media reports. Stick signed with the Falcons in the offseason after five years with the Los Angeles Chargers.
In addition, the Los Angeles Raiders released former Bison QB Cam Miller, who lead NDSU to a FCS national championship last season.
It leaves former Bison QBs Carson Wentz with the Vikings and Trey Lance with the Chargers. Stick put up good numbers in the preseason for the Falcons, completing 54 of 78 passes (69%) for 520 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions.
Former Bison linebacker Nick Kubitz was also released by the Falcons, according to Yahoo Sports, while former defensive tac
