NORFOLK, Va. — 13News Now will be live from Norfolk State University throughout the day Thursday as the Spartans open their football season with a new head coach on the sideline: Newport News native and NFL legend Michael Vick.

Crews will report live from Dick Price Stadium during the morning newscasts, host a tailgate party outside the NSU Student Center during the noon newscast, and return to campus for evening and late-night coverage surrounding the season's home opener against Towson University.

ESPN’s “First Take,” the network’s daily sports debate show featuring Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim, will also broadcast live from NSU Thursday morning as part of its national HBCU tour. 13News Now will bring you along to the center of the action!
