LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A court order filed on Monday demands the immediate release of the father of the 18-year-old accused of killing two missing teens.
Ali Haider Naqvi was reported missing on Sunday, May 11. He was last seen getting into a white 2020 Acura ILX with 15-year-old Aoun Ismail Basboos. Lexington police would go on to find Naqvi's body six days later.
Basboos' body has yet to be found, but he's believed to be deceased, according to Lexington police.
Five days later, Lexington police charged Jesus Eduardo Reyes-Rodriguez, 47, with tampering with physical evidence in connection with the search for the missing teens. His 18-year-old son, Jesus Eduardo Reyes-Ocampo, would also be charged with two counts of murder and tampering with physical evidence.
