The body of a long-time suspect in the disappearance of a woman was exhumed from the Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson.

Marty Dill killed himself as police approached his home days after Heather Teague vanished from a Newburgh beach

. Today marks the 30th anniversary of that disappearance.

Her mother Sarah has fought for decades for answers

Kentucky State Police say the exhumation happened Monday to collect Dill’s DNA.

They didn’t say why, but Heather Teague’s swimsuit bottoms havew been tested for DNA.
