With nuclear energy growing in popularity, Alberta is taking a look at adding the power source to the province’s energy output.
The province is launching a public engagement campaign to explore the potential of nuclear energy being set up within Alberta to meet the needs of families, businesses and communities.
As part of the first phase of the engagement plan, the government is putting together a panel of experts to engage with residents across the province, as well as launching a public survey to help develop a nuclear energy roadmap.
The panel will lead multiple engagement activities and deliver a report with recommendations on how to develop a nuclear energy industry.
