AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Coffee Memorial Blood Center is preparing to host its Beef Up the Blood Supply blood drive ahead of Labor Day weekend.

This week’s blood drive will take place Aug. 28-29 at 7500 Wallace Blvd.

Donors can enjoy all-beef smoked hot dogs, a glow-in-the-dark Halloween T-shirt, and be entered into the $10K Vacay giveaway.

“Although we have fun with this event, saving the lives of our family, friends and neighbors is a serious matter. We are grateful for our donors who take time before Labor Day weekend to help us prepare for any emergency that may occur,” said Dr. John Armitage, president and CEO of Coffee Memorial Blood Center.
