GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Nebraska fairgoers get to learn about the art and science of circus at The Circus Science Spectacular.
The show, put on by Steve Russell and Kobi Shaw, is designed to pull back the curtain that mystifies circus performances and teach people how they work.
Both were trained by Ringling Brother’s Barnum and Bailey Circus, where they graduated Clown College. Russell ended up teaching there as well.
Both eventually decided they wanted to start their own show, and created The Circus Science Spectacular.
At the show, their mission is to teach students and adults alike the science, and art, of circus.
