A grandmother who jetted off to Turkey whilst battling a brain tumour has been told she requires surgery but faces the devastating prospect of complete paralysis as the best possible outcome. ‌

Gill Taylor-Scarth's family had already endured a particularly harrowing year before she collapsed whilst staying at a hotel in Hisaronu, Turkey. The family, from Formby, departed for the country on August 15 for a "big family holiday," which Gill's husband Kevin Scarth had arranged. ‌

Kevin tragically passed away in December just one month before Gill, 56, discovered she had cancer.
