According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Denver Broncos have waived rookie tight end Caleb Lohner. Denver selected Lohner with the 241st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft despite him having little college experience. However, it was the athleticism that intrigued the Broncos with him.

Lohner, at 6-7, 256 pounds, had the look of a potential dominant red zone target. While he has been waived, I would predict that we’ll see Lohner added to the practice squad if he clears waivers. The former basketball star in college probably isn’t done working his way through the NFL.
