GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- Brittanee Drexel's mother wants a judge to give her ownership of two remote Georgetown County properties owned by Raymond Moody and his ex-girlfriend Angel Vause, court documents show.

Dawn Conley filed a lawsuit Aug. 13 seeking control of parcels at 5502 and 5498 Rose Hill Road, which have a combined assessed value of $5,030.

The move comes four months after attorneys for Conely asked a judge in Georgetown County to seize the assets of Moody, the man convicted of abducting and killing her 17-year-old daughter in 2009 while she was on spring break on the Grand Strand.

Conley sued Moody in January 2023, and a jury awarded her $700 million — $200 million in actual damages and $500 million in punitive damages — after a trial in February.
