HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A sailboat washed ashore in Horry County early Monday morning, police said.

The boat came ashore near the Ocean Creek Resort, according to police, who said the owner is accounted for and no injuries are reported.

Police have asked the public to stay away from the vessel until it can be safely removed. No additional information was immediately available.
