MANCHESTER, N.H. —

Concord police have launched an investigation into a recording device put in a women's locker room at Concord Hospital, News 9 Investigates has learned.

Concord Hospital officials said the camera was installed in the locker room because of a series of thefts, but they would not say who authorized it.

Several people who work at the hospital have reached out to News 9 to say that many women have had their privacy violated.

Employees received an email Friday saying the hospital was informed that a camera was installed in a women's locker room on the Concord campus, and it was removed immediately.
