WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- Authorities have made an arrest in the death of a 4-month-old boy who died Monday after being left alone in a car, Kingstree Police Chief Kimberly Marlow said.

Armina Lavette Seal-Middleton, 52, of Salters, South Carolina, was charged with homicide by child abuse. She was booked into the Williamsburg County Detention Center.

Kingstree police responded to Dollar General on Monday to assist Williamsburg County EMS with a call involving an unresponsive infant who was found in a car that wasn't running, according to a news release.
