NBA star and Central Valley native Jalen Green swung through Fresno on Monday to donate school supplies to children.

Green appeared at the Boys & Girls Club of Fresno County to give back to the community.

The big picture: Green, who plays for the Phoenix Suns, donated 200 backpacks, school supply kits, Hydro flasks and Adidas shoes to children. • Green was a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Fresno County when he grew up in Fresno and has been a regular supporter of the club since he started his professional basketball career.

Flashback: In 2020, Green donated Beats headphones, backpacks and school supplies to hundreds of Club members at the West Fresno Unit. • He followed that up in 2021 by donating turkeys to families for Thanksgiving. • He returned once again in 2023 to donate
