PINEVILLE, La. (KALB) - A registered sex offender who was arrested earlier this summer in connection with the Hilton Court home invasion, attempted murder and arson case has been indicted by a Grand Jury, according to the Pineville Police Department.

A Rapides Parish Grand Jury returned a true bill of indictment on Tuesday for Calvin Williams, Jr ., 30, of Pineville. The indictment is for aggravated burglary, home invasion, aggravated arson, first degree rape and two counts of obstruction of justice as well as some new charges - two counts of attempted first degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, and three counts of possession of a firearm by a felon.
