CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, N.Y. (WIVB) - An Ohio man's arrest is sparking renewed interest in a missing woman's case from 2008 in Chautauqua County.

Ohio police arrested 65-year-old Kenneth Anderson, accusing him of kidnapping, raping and assaulting a woman in Ohio.

People in the Southern Tier hope the arrest brings investigators closer to solving the case of Corrie Anderson, a Jamestown mother of three who went missing while running errands.

Those closest to Corrie have always thought Kenneth, Corrie's estranged husband, was somehow involved in her disappearance, but no arrests have ever been made.

Merry Williams-Diers is the founder of Western New York Missing and Unsolved Persons. She suspected Kenneth had something to do with it. Her suspicions have grown.
