SAN FRANCISCO—Nikolas Tomasevic was a member of San Francisco’s Aquatic Park Dolphin Club. He was also an experienced and dedicated swimmer since he swam in Aquatic Park several times a week.

The 35-year-old Tomasevic was last seen swimming at approximately 10:15 a.m. near the Eureka, a historical steamboat at the San Francisco’s Maritime National Historical Park on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in Aquatic Park. His swimming partner and Tomasevic went off separately and he was supposedly about to swim back towards Dolphin Club.

However, a strong flood current moved into the bay that morning. The water in the park is eight to ten feet deep with temperature at mid to low 6os.
