HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A woman who is charged with her father’s murder is now off of home incarceration.

The Floyd County Circuit Clerk said Summer Adkins was not indicted by a grand jury within 60 days.

Because of that, she is off her home incarceration.

Adkins can still be indicted and proceedings in the case can still move forward, but she is off of house arrest until then.

Adkins is accused of shooting and killing her father in Prestonsburg in June.
