DRIGGS, Idaho — The National Weather Service Pocatello Office (NWS) has issued two alerts for the Teton Valley area, including a flood watch in effect until the end of the day on Wednesday, Aug. 27, and an air quality alert.

A surge of monsoonal moisture is heading to the region and is expected to bring a prolonged period of rainfall across eastern Idaho. Widespread rainfall totals of around 1 inch are expected, with higher amounts close to 2 inches possible in localized areas.
