A chilled water line break has closed a portion of South Sixth Street on the University of Missouri campus for days, according to a Tuesday news release from the Columbia Public Works Department.

South Sixth Street between East Stewart Road and Elm Street will be closed to through traffic for anywhere between two to seven days, according to the news release.

MU is making repairs, and excavation work is underway.

Sidewalks along South Sixth Street will remain open.

The closure will affect two Go COMO routes: the Tiger Line 403 route and the black route bus.

Tiger Line 403 Route

When heading north on South Sixth Street, the bus will make a left onto East Stewart Road and then turn right onto South Fifth Street to get back on its normal route.
