AUSTIN (KXAN) -- On Tuesday, The Other Ones Foundation (TOOF) announced it appointed its new executive director as Elizabeth Baker, TOOF founder Chris Baker's wife.

Chris Baker will remain "actively involved" in the nonprofit, TOOF said in a news release.

The nonprofit "is dedicated to helping people experiencing homelessness rebuild their lives through shelter, opportunity, and support," the release said. TOOF also works with city and county leaders to reach that goal.
