MARKSVILLE, La. (KALB) - After fielding one of the youngest rosters in Cenla over the past two seasons, the Marksville Tigers are ready for a breakout in 2025.
“We’ve been young for the last couple of years, so the expectations right now are high,” Marksville head coach Josh Harper said. “We have maturity with a senior and junior-led class, so we’re excited about the season.”
The key returner on the offensive side of the ball is junior quarterback Devin Lavalais.
“Just coming to work out with them during the summer, building that chemistry,” Lavalais said on working with his offense. “Trusting my offensive line, trusting my receivers to go get the ball whenever I throw it.”
On the defensive side, the team returns Travis Palmer, who missed the majority of last season with a leg injury.
