TYLER, Texas (KETK) -- Most writers know it's common to draw from real-life experiences, and one children's author from East Texas is doing just that, spreading a message of kindness through her words.
Children's author Kylie Wright is younger than most published writers. At just 11 years old, she's already accomplished more than what most dream of becoming: a published author.
"I've always loved writing, like even since I was little, I just love writing stories," Wright said.
Through her writing, she's raising awareness of Tourette's Syndrome."I've had Tourette's for as long as I can remember. I started having them when I was three," Wright said.
