Carolyn Hax: Host wants a way to see parent-friends without their little kids

Hi, Carolyn: My partner and I are part of a broad community of friends and acquaintances in our 30s and 40s who live in the same part of the city. I feel very fortunate to have such a big social world. I try to entertain often, either for dinner or TV or board games.
