MURRAY – While saying he is not a fan of tariffs in general, U.S. Congressman James Comer said Tuesday that he thinks the tariffs put in place by President Donald Trump will cause more companies to locate production in this country.
Comer was the keynote speaker for the Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce’s Business@Breakfast , and discussed a variety of topics lawmakers currently have before them. Speaking about Trump’s “America First” approach, Comer said the tariffs have been among the most controversial aspects of his agenda.
