A 49-year-old woman was shot in the arm and leg this morning in Prospect Heights, police say. Police received a call at around 8:45 a.m. at 399 St. John's Place and were told the gunman barricaded himself inside. Police initially thought it could have been a hostage situation, but later determined the suspect ran from the scene. Eyewitnesses watched in shock as a victim ran from the building, covered in blood. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
