COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Good Wednesday morning! We're waking up to another refreshing taste of fall, with morning temperatures starting out in the 60s. Some high-level clouds have drifted into the region, but sunshine is expected to take over later this morning and through the afternoon.

Highs will once again climb into the upper 80s today, but thanks to low humidity, it won’t feel too uncomfortable. Tonight stays pleasant under mostly clear skies, with lows dropping into the low to mid 60s in the city and even cooler in outlying rural areas—some spots north could dip into the upper 50s.

Looking ahead to Thursday, clouds will gradually increase in the afternoon and evening across the southeast as we track our next chance for rain.
