Former Mobile District Court Judge Spiro Cheriogotis is headed to a runoff against State Rep. Barbara Drummond in the race to become Mobile’s next mayor.

Unofficial election returns show Drummond earned 12,045 votes in Tuesday’s election, Cheriogotis earned 10,572, former Mobile police chief Paul Prine earned 7,774, and Mobile County Commissioner Connie Hudson earned 7,340. At the time of publication, the race is 95 percent reported.
