DES MOINES, Iowa —
Clouds have moved back in for this morning leading so some isolated showers, mainly for the northern half of the state.

We could see some stray showers dip deeper over the I-80 corridor, but those will be less likely to form. Either way, rain chances will stay in northern Iowa for the afternoon with even some isolated storm chances. Despite more clouds expected for today, highs will climb back into the low 80s. Stronger south winds with gusts around 15 to 20 mph will bring the warm up along with building back some humidity. We will continue with upper 70s to low 80s for Thursday afternoon with a slight muggy feel in the air.
We should be able to mix in some drier air for the weekend with dew points back on the decline. Temperature
