Cloudy mornings make a comeback

Another cloudy morning is in store for SoCal followed by afternoon sunshine. If you want to beat the heat, try moving your hike to the morning.

Today's temperatures will be similar to yesterday, and in some areas, a couple degrees warmer.

For L.A. County beaches, afternoon highs will reach the mid 70s and up to 88 degrees in downtown L.A. Valley communities and the Inland Empire will see highs from the mid 80s into the mid 90s.

In Orange County, temperatures should get up to 88 degrees inland and 84 degrees along the coast.

Meanwhile, in Coachella Valley, expect highs to climb up to 103 degrees.
