A flash flood watch was released by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 4:50 a.m. in effect until 11 p.m. for Oregon Lower Treasure Valley as well as Baker and Malheur counties.

The weather service comments, "Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible."

"Heavy rainfall could trigger flash flooding or debris flows in and near recent wildfire burn scars," says the weather service. "You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued."
