PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Summer heat and hazy sunshine remain across the Pacific Northwest on Wednesday as thunderstorms grow out east.
Scattered rain showers are possible around the greater Portland & Vancouver metro areas early Wednesday morning. Little to no rain accumulation is expected as skies slowly clear to sunshine with temperatures warming into the upper 80s to low 90s by the afternoon.
Average afternoon temperatures in late August should be in the low 80s. The nearly 10-degree temperature surplus will take Portland through the end of the week. This comes as higher humidity values stay through Friday.
