YUBA COUNTY, Calif. — The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office announced that its Problem Oriented Policing Team conducted two narcotics operations last week. These efforts led to multiple arrests and the seizure of drugs, firearms and cash.

On August 21, sheriff officials say that detectives executed a search warrant on Highway 20, uncovering about 6 grams of DMT and a functioning DMT lab. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration assisted in processing the site. 44-year-old David Rhodes, admitted to manufacturing the drug and was arrested on narcotics charges and an outstanding warrant.

On August 25, YCSO stated that the same team searched the College View Apartments on North Beale Road, finding 80 grams of fentanyl and evidence of drug sales. A storage unit search in Yuba City revealed firear
