INDIANAPOLIS — A man is still recovering in the hospital after a bar fight earlier this month on Indianapolis' south side left him in critical condition.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Violent Crime Unit detectives arrested 37-year-old Terence Lambert, of Indianapolis, on Tuesday, Aug. 26 for allegedly caused those injuries.

It happened at That Place Bar & Grill, in the 8800 block of South Emerson Avenue , just north of County Line Road, around 1 a.m. on August 16. A fight occurred between 31-year-old David Risley and Lambert, who is a security guard for the bar.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Risley was knocked unconscious in the parking lot. Witnesses said the security guard allegedly stomped on Risley's head.
