The Trump administration says 40 states, including Arizona, must remove references to what it calls "gender ideology" from federally funded sex education programs or risk losing funding.

In Arizona, $3 million in remaining federal Personal Responsibility Education Program grant funding is in peril, according to officials with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services or HHS, which is headed by Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
